  • Egg (1)
  • Butter (65g / 2.3oz)
  • Olive oil (2 1/2 Tbsp)
  • Sesame oil (1 Tbsp)
  • White vinegar (3 Tbsp)
  • Apple cider vinegar (1 Tbsp)
  • Dijon mustard (3 1/2 tsp)
  • Soy sauceGF (95ml / 3.2 fl.oz)
  • CornflourGF (1 Tbsp)
  • Brown sugar (5 1/2 Tbsp)
  • Caster sugar (2 1/2 tsp)
  • Chicken stock powderGF (2 tsp)
  • Garlic powder (3 tsp)
  • Paprika (1 tsp)
  • Salt and pepper

1 Can be replaced with a large handful of baby cos or baby spinach.

2 Chicken mince would also work.

3 Boneless, skinless chicken thighs are a good alternative.

4 If jackfruit doesn’t appeal, replace with store-bought pulled pork (you will need around 450g / 1lb) and omit barbecue sauce.

GF Gluten-free swaps: Swap pastry for gluten-free tortillas/tacos and use gluten-free panko breadcrumbs. Ensure barbecue sauce is gluten-free. Use gluten-free soy sauce, cornflour and stock powder.
