MEAT / FISH

  • White fish fillets3 (4 pieces / 500g / 1lb 2oz)
  • Rump, sirloin or eye fillet steaks (4 steaks / approx. 700g / 1lb 9oz)

 

CHILLED / FROZEN

  • Plain, unsweetened yoghurt (265ml / 9 fl.oz)
  • Chorizo4, GF (150-200g / 5.3-7oz)
  • Parmesan cheese (120g / 4.2oz)
  • Feta cheese (75g / 2.6oz)

GENERAL GROCERY

  • Ciabatta breadGF (1 loaf)
  • FettuccineGF (300g / 10.6oz)
  • Sundried tomatoes (75g / 2.6oz)
  • Pinenuts (35g / 1.2oz) 
  • Sunflower seeds (2 Tbsp)

 

PANTRY STAPLES

  • Eggs (3)
  • Butter (80g / 2.8oz)
  • Olive oil (55ml / 1.9 fl.oz)
  • Red wine (80ml / 2.7 fl.oz) optional
  • White vinegar (2 Tbsp)
  • MayonnaiseGF (2 Tbsp)
  • Dijon mustard (1 tsp)
  • Plain flourGF (5 Tbsp)
  • CornflourGF (1/2 Tbsp)
  • Sugar (1 tsp)
  • Beef stock cubeGF (1)
  • Lemon pepper (3 tsp)
  • Salt and pepper

1 A pink skinned beetroot with stripy pink and white flesh. Regular or yellow beetroot, radishes and red onion are all good alternatives. 

2 Spinach works well too.

3 You can use any white fish. I used Mahi Mahi. Tuna is also good.

4 Bacon, pancetta or kransky sausages are great options too.

GF Gluten-free swaps: Ensure chorizo is gluten free. Choose your favourite gluten-free bread as a replacement for ciabatta. Use gluten-free fettuccine. Make sure mayonnaise is gluten-free and use gluten-free flour, cornflour and stock cube.
