PANTRY STAPLES

  • Vegetable oil (125ml / 4.2 fl.oz)
  • Butter (100g / 3.5oz)
  • Milk (200ml / 6.8 fl.oz)
  • Eggs (2)
  • Apple cider vinegar (1 Tbsp)
  • Wholegrain mustard (1 1/2 Tbsp)
  • Sugar (1/2 tsp)
  • Plain flourGF (75g / 2.6oz)
  • CornflourGF (2 Tbsp)
  • Chicken stock cubesGF (2)
  • Paprika (1 tsp)
  • Dried rosemary (1 tsp)
  • Salt and pepper

1 You can substitute with chicken breasts.

2 Chicken schnitzel is a good option too.

3 If you don’t want to buy a whole loaf of bread, you can use panko breadcrumbs instead.

GF Gluten-free swaps: Make sure pesto and ham are gluten-free. Replace pastry with extra kumara, gluten-free pastry or gluten-free wraps. Swap bread for gluten-free panko breadcrumbs and couscous for quinoa or millet. Ensure stock is gluten-free. Use gluten-free flour, cornflour and stock cubes.
