PANTRY STAPLES

  • White vinegar (80ml / 2.7 fl.oz)
  • Red wine vinegar (1 1/2 Tbsp)
  • Tomato relish optional
  • Wholegrain mustard (1 tsp)
  • Maple syrup (2 Tbsp)
  • Caster sugar (2 Tbsp)
  • Beef stock cubeGF (1)
  • Salt and pepper

1 Can swap for 1 head broccoli, 1 large capsicum or 2 courgettes.

2 Can be swapped for broccoli.

3 Try beef instead of lamb sausages, or boneless, diced lamb.

4 Almonds are a good alternative.

5 For a lighter option, use coconut milk or light coconut cream.

GF Gluten-free swaps: Choose gluten-free sausages and gluten-free pastry (or try gluten-free pizza bases instead). Use gluten-free panko breadcrumbs, curry paste and stock cube.
