PANTRY STAPLES

  • Milk (375ml / 12.7 fl.oz)
  • Butter (25g / 0.9oz)
  • Cooking oil spray (small quantity)
  • Olive oil (3 1/2 Tbsp)
  • Apple cider vinegar (2 Tbsp)
  • Balsamic vinegar (1 1/2 Tbsp)
  • Sweet chilli sauce (2 Tbsp)
  • Fish sauceGF (1 Tbsp)
  • Soy sauceGF (1 Tbsp)
  • Dijon mustard (2 tsp)
  • Brown sugar (1/2 Tbsp)
  • Caster sugar (1 tsp)
  • Plain flourGF (2 1/2 Tbsp)
  • Chicken or vegetable stock powderGF (2 tsp)
  • Salt and pepper

1 Can be swapped for green beans.

2 Chicken mince can be used instead.

3 Sausages are a good alternative (any type).

4 Can be swapped for 250g / 8.8oz shredded roast chicken and 100g / 3.5oz streaky bacon.

GF Gluten-free swaps: Use gluten-free bread or wraps (the softer the better). Choose gluten-free breadcrumbs, check the noodles and make your own hoisin sauce. Use gluten-free fish sauce, soy sauce, plain gluten-free flour and gluten-free stock powder.
