1 You can omit one of these if necessary (preferably not both!).
2 Can be replaced with chicken tenderloins.
3 Alternatives: pork mince (best), chicken mince or beef mince.
4 Can be swapped for 150g / 5.3oz cherry tomatoes.
5 Sweetened dried cranberries are a good alternative.
6 Can use raw or roasted unsalted almonds + 2 tsp soy sauce.
GF Gluten-free swaps: Make sure almonds are gluten-free. Use gluten-free panko breadcrumbs. Replace bulghur wheat with 250g / 8.8oz small dried pasta or 2 x 250g / 2 x 8.8oz microwave pouches brown rice and quinoa. Use gluten-free gravy mix, soy sauce, plain gluten-free flour and omit stock powder.
