  • Green beans1 (300g)
  • Button mushrooms (250g)
  • Spring onions (1 bunch)
  • Brown onion (1 large)

MEAT / FISH

  • 600g boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 400g beef rump steak
  • 150g bacon

CHILLED

  • Plain, unsweetened yoghurt (1/4 cup)
  • Filo pastry (300g)2
  • Cheddar cheese (250g)

GENERAL GROCERY

  • Eggs (5)
  • Lite coconut milk (375ml)
  • Beef stock (250ml)
  • Jasmine rice (1 1/4 cups)
  • Pinenuts (2 Tbsp)
  • Sesame seeds, black or white (1 Tbsp)

 

PANTRY STAPLES

  • Olive oil (1/3 cup)
  • Canola oil (1/3 cup)
  • Sesame oil (1 tsp)
  • Apple cider vinegar (2 Tbsp)
  • Crunchy peanut butter (1/4 cup)
  • Honey (2 tsp)
  • Tomato paste (2 Tbsp) 
  • Tomato relish (optional)
  • Dijon mustard (4 tsp)
  • Sweet chilli sauce (1 Tbsp)
  • Soy sauce (1 1/2 Tbsp)
  • Worcestershire sauce (2 tsp)
  • Marmite (1 tsp)
  • Plain flour (1 cup)
  • Baking powder (1 tsp)
  • Dried oregano (1 1/2 tsp)
  • Dried basil (1/2 tsp)
  • Salt and pepper

¹ Frozen beans work well too.

² I recommend the filo pastry found in the chilled section rather than frozen filo pastry.
