This week's menu features two winter warmers plus a fresher, lighter meal. The first recipe, cheesy chicken pasta, is loaded up with three cheeses (YUM!) and balanced out with plenty of green veggies. Next up are Thai prawn fritters. They’re fresh and flavoursome thanks to the addition of zesty lime and fresh herbs. End the week with dessert turned dinner! A savoury bread and butter pudding that’s topped with mushrooms and chorizo.
RECOMMENDED ORDER OF MEALS (for best variety and use of fresh ingredients): Cheesy Chicken Pasta • Thai Prawn Fritters • Savoury Bread and Butter Pudding. You may want to cook the bread and butter pudding earlier if the bread is getting too old though!
BEST OVERALL WINE MATCH (if you only want to buy one bottle for the 3 meals!): A Chardonnay.
OTHER NOTES: This menu uses a few fresh herbs - mostly just because I had them on hand. Feel free to use the dried versions where the option is given, the end result will be just as good.
